Empire Zones
Riverview
tenants are eligible for tax benefits under New York State's Empire
Zone Program, including:
- Wage tax
credits for employers, up to $1,500 per qualified employee.
- Capital
Tax Credits for Initial Business Investment, up to 24% of cost
or original issue stock
- Investment
Tax Credits/Employment Incentive Credits, 8% for personal taxpayers
and 10% for corporate taxpayers on qualified investments
- Sales Tax
Exemptions, from New York State sales tax (currently 4.25%).
